I wrote this article to help you remove Weather Service. This Weather Service removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
The Weather Service extension promises usefulness. It claims that it provides accurate weather forecast and you will find it quite helpful when you need to know what the weather is going to be. Yes, this does sound helpful but not everything it the way it seems. Weather Service is not what it claims to be. It is a member of the browser hijacker family and its real agenda has nothing to do with informing you about the forecast. This is a facade.
The pest is trying to make you believe that you need it in your system. It wants you to keep it so that it can do its actual job behind your back. Do not let this deceptive parasite fool you. Look past the smoke and mirrors and see it what it actually it – an infection. Do not hesitate and delete the hijacker as soon as you spot it on board. Do not give it enough time to cause you harm because it eventually will. That’s for sure. Find where it is hiding and cut its stay short. This is the best course of action you can take. Take it before it is too late.
Weather Service enters your PC in silence but then you notice its extension appended to each of your browsers. Soon after that, problems start pouring. You may ignore the interruptions at first, but there is no change you ignore them forever. Issues start as small and insignificant but after a couple of days, they become unbearable. For instance, every time you go online, you get redirected to suspicious looking pages which you have never seen before and had no intention of visiting whatsoever. Yet, the hijacker forces them on you. Also, the pest bombards you with annoying commercials on daily basis, which grow in numbers with each passing day.
Surfing the web becomes a hellish experience. You cannot make a single online move without the hijacker interrupting. All of this, of course, leads to consequences. Your machine starts to underperform. It crashes, freezes and reboots often. Its speed slows down to a crawl. It struggles with performing even the simplest tasks. You cannot get any work done in such conditions. But this is not the worst part. As annoying as all of this is, there is something else happening in the shadows.
Weather Service spies on you and collects sensitive information. It catalogs all the data it can find and when it deems it has enough, it sends it all to the cybercriminals who published it. Do you think this is a good idea? Hackers, having access to your private details? Of course, not. Do not sit idly by while the hijacker is getting its way. Use our removal guide below and delete it before it causes some irrevocable damage.
How did Weather Service enter your system? Like all other infections, this hijacker turns to tricky methods to infect you. It hides behind spam email messages, corrupted links, fake program or system updates, malicious social media messages and attachments, freeware and shareware bundles, unverified torrents, third-party ads, etc. If you don’t pay enough attention when you are online, the pest succeeds in duping you and end up approving its entrance.
Be more vigilant. None of the above-mentioned tricks is good enough to work without your inactive cooperation, aka your carelessness. Do not grant it. Do not throw caution to the wind because this leads to infections. Be cautious and careful and always think twice before you give permission to a program to enter your machine. Choose vigilance over negligence. The latter leads to parasites, the first keeps them away.
