But how did this pest enter your PC in the first place? Did you intentionally download it? Of course not. In order to prevent another infection, you need to know how pests travel the Web. All infections need your permission to get it and as they know you would not give it voluntarily, they use tricks to dupe you into giving it. They still ask for permission but in the sneakiest way possible. Otherwise, you would never give them green light. This is why they turn to tricky tactics like freeware, spam email messages and malicious attachments, compromised pages/links/torrents, bogus updates, third party ads, etc.

If you want to protect yourself, be extra careful. Stay away from shady pages and don’t click on everything that comes your way. Delete all email messages that are from unknown senders even if they look legitimate. Double-check what you are agreeing to. When installing a bundle, don’t rush. Opt for the Custom settings instead of the Basic ones as they give you complete control over the installment. Don’t skip the Term and Conditions too. What all parasites pray for the most is your carelessness, haste, and distraction. Don’t provide them.
