I wrote this article to help you remove Junk Sweeper. This Junk Sweeper removal guide works for all Windows versions.
Most of you probably know what a potentially unwanted program (PUP) is. Well, this is exactly what Junk Sweepers is as well. It is a PUP and there is no place for it on your computer. It is dangerous and won`t do you any good, no matter what it promises. Junk Sweeper is advertised to help your PC improve its performance and optimize your system. However, if keeps neither of these promises. They are fake and their only goal is to trick you into believing that you absolutely need Junk Sweeper. But you don’t! The program is unreliable, deceptive and very dangerous to both your privacy and your device. The malicious program has to be uninstalled as soon as possible because the longer it stays on board the more time it would have to cause damage.
Once on the device, this PUP does what any other. It pretends to perform a scan and check your computer for infections. Then, it displays a very long list of problems it has detected and convinces you that your PC is a wreck. According to the list, the machine is full of viruses and infections and you should waste no time to remove them. But, remember, this is a PUP. This program is simply not able to perform scans and discover infections. What it is actually trying to do is scare you enough and make you believe your PC is full of threats. But it is not! Your device is completely fine except from the fact that you have a malicious PUP to deal with.
All that Junk Sweeper is doing has one purpose: to mislead you to purchase its full version, which would be able to deal with this long list of troubles. After this “scan”, the PUP shows the list of infections to scare you and says that it cannot fix them unless you buy the full version. The crooks, responsible for creating the program, want only one thing – your money which will buy Junk Sweeper`s full version. The program was never mean to be helpful to you in any way. It can neither improve your PC`s performance nor optimize your system. It is all about profits. That is what cybercriminal actually want. To rip you off. Moreover, to make sure you have not forgotten about the “infections list” the PUP constantly reminds you of it prompting you to make the purchase.
Do not even consider paying. Do not trust this program even only for a second unless you want to end up double-crossed. What you need to do is take immediate measured the second you spot this program “scanning” your device. And you haven`t already scared enough, let me add that Junk Sweeper is spying on you from the moment it has arrived. It monitors your browsers, your browsing history and search results. Then, when it has decided it has gathered enough valuable information, it sends it to its authors. In this way, Junk Sweeper is practically granting them access to your private life. This is something you should never allow to happen. Your sensitive data in the hand of a crook won`t lead to anything good. They may use it for all kinds of criminal operations and then you will have a huge problem. That’s why, do not procrastinate and do not waste any time. Remove the PUP as soon as possible and don’t give it time to evolve. Our removal guide below will help you get rid of it once and for all. Just follow the instructions carefully and soon enough your machine will be clean.
You may wonder how a PUP like this ended up on your PC. Junk Sweeper sneaks in without you realizing it but you must have given it your permission at some point. It relies on your carelessness and needs your approval to be installed. It cannot get it without you giving it a green light. It hides in freeware or spam email attachment and hopes you wound not notice it and grant it access. Not only that, though. It also uses compromised webpages and link, or it may even disguise itself as a fake update. The PUP hopes you will be careless enough and not spot it because in this way you practically open the door for it. Take your time, pay attention to the Terms and Conditions and do your best to protect your PC and privacy on time. As so many threats rely on you not to spot them and welcome them, in other words, we should have learned our lesson by now. It is never too late, though.
