I wrote this article to help you remove BHNR1.RU. This BHNR1.RU removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
The BHNR1.RU page`s appearance is bad news. More that bad, actually. It is a clear sign that your computer is infected by a nasty browser hijacker which is using this malicious site to inform you of its presence. It hides behind the page while forcing it on you daily. It goes without saying that this hijacker has to be removed as soon as possible. If given enough time, it will eventually completely wreck your machine. Even though this infection actually hijacks your browsing experience and makes it impossible to enjoy, this is not the worst part of having it on board.
The absolute worst part has to do with your security, which the hijacker jeopardize. From the moment it enters the pest starts spying on your and gathering sensitive information. IPs, emails, usernames, accounts, passwords, browser-related data, and anything else that it can find. It may even get to your personally identifiable and financial information. But not only that. The hijacker doesn’t just collect all of this for nothing. Oh, no. It has a purpose. Everything i gathers, it sends to the crooks behind it. Consider your private life no longer private as the crooks have access to it. This reason alone should make you remove the pest immediately. But if you are not convinced, which we highly doubt, there is more.
Once the hijacker has enters your system it doesn’t waste any time. The first thing it does it adding a pesky extension to all of your browsers thus taking control over them. From this moment on, issues start pouring. You start noticing changes in your browser setting which you don’t remember approving. And you didn’t because the parasite doesn’t need your permission to make reshuffles. It replaces both your homepage and search engine with the BHNR1.RU page.
All of a sudden, this page is everywhere. You are being redirected back to it all the time because of the hijacker. It appears among the search results or when you open a new tab. All the time. Of course, you are forced to visit many just as shady sites but the BHNR1.RU is the hijacker`s favorite. Visiting a page becomes impossible as you are constantly interrupted. And this is not all. Even if you think you somehow can put up with the redirect, you cannot ignore the ads.
Yes, the hijacker floods you with countless irritating advertisements non-stop. The ads cover your whole screen, popping and blocking content. And you cannot use the “X” button to close them. If anything, you may worsen your situation if you try closing them. How? These commercials are dangerous. Most of them conceal more infections in them and your single click may be enough said infections to come on board. It doesn’t matter if you click on purpose or in an attempt to get rid of the ad, you still get infected.
Do you think your machine can handle more parasites? The problems that you already have because of this hijacker don’t go unnoticed by your computer. It underperforms. It is slow, it lags, it crashes. Your browsers freeze frequently as well due to the constant ad bombardment. You may even experience issues with your internet connection. Take action now and delete this hijacker. As you can see, you will not lose anything but you will regain control over your PC. Use our removal guide below and get rid of the pest.
But do you wonder how you got stuck with this infection in the first place? As much as you won’t like this, you were the one to let it enter. Hijackers need your permission on their installment and they ask for it. Of course, they do so in the sneakiest way possible otherwise you will obviously deny it. They turn to the old but gold means of infiltration to trick you into giving them green light. For instance, they use freeware. This is very effective technique because the majority of user tend to just rush the installation process and don’t pay attention. This is how they get a “bonus” program on their PCs. Other methods include spam email messages, fake updates, compromised links/pages/torrents, etc.
All of these tactics need one key ingredient in order to succeed – your carelessness. If you don’t pay attention you are basically helping crooks. You are making yourself an even easier target. Don’t. Be on the alert because you are the one to keep machine infection-free.
