Svchost Kitty is a malicious program. According to security experts, Svchost Kitty is a potentially unwanted program (PUP). This program is unwanted indeed. Due to it, you are constantly bombarded with obnoxious advertisements. All the time. Whenever you try using your browsers you get buried in ads. Also, your machine starts to underperform. Its speed slows down to a crawl. It starts crashing. Your browsers freeze often.

Second, it is not a coincidence that this infection uses the Svchost name. It does so in order to trick you into trusting it. And third, if you want to remove this application permanently, you need to delete all of its pesky components. However, you have to be very careful not to remove the legit svchost process as, if you do, your machine may crash. This is why we suggest you use our detailed removal guide at the end of this article. It is easy to follow and it will help you get rid of this imposter quickly.
As we already mentioned, Svchost Kitty is a PUP. PUPs cannot be compared with other more dangerous infections like Trojans and ransomware pieces, but they should not be underestimated either. This parasite turns your browsing experience into a nightmare by flooding you with ads. Your whole screen is covered with coupons, banners, pop-ups, video ads, deals, offers, etc. and etc.
If you take a closer look, though, you will notice something else. Each ad is in some way connected to your likes and preferences as if it has been selected for you and you alone. If you think that this is not possible, prepare yourself. These ads are indeed selected specially for you. How? Well, the Svchost Kitty virus is spying on you.
The PUP starts monitoring your every online move from the moment it enters. It collects valuable and personal data of yours and then uses it to bombard you with ads that you would find appealing. Very sneaky tactic. Needless to say, you cannot trust any of these commercials. Most of them (not to say all) are sponsored and dangerous. A single click on the wrong one and you automatically download more infection on your PC. You have to remove this app immediately. If given the time it may even try stealing your financial and identifiable credentials. Then, of course, it sends everything to the crooks behind it. Don’t waste any more time and tackle the intruder now.
How did you get stuck with Svchost Kitty in the first place? Do you know how these infections travel the Web? They rely on lies and tricks to dupe you into giving them your permission to enter. One of the most popular infiltration tactics is freeware bundling. Crooks easily attach a parasite to a bundle and you do the rest by not being careful while installing said bundle.
So, next time when you install a program, take your time and definitely opt for the Custom settings instead of the Basic ones. This way you will be able to see each program in the bundle and decide which one stays and which one goes. Also, don’t ever skip the Terms and Conditions unless you want to accidentally agree to something you are totally against. Remember that what all infections pray for the most are your haste and distraction. Don’t grant them and keep yourself and your computer safe.
