I wrote this article to help you remove ShoppingDay Virus. This ShoppingDay Virus removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
ShoppingDay is not what it claims to be. Do not believe this program even for a second. It is a scam. The app promises to enhance your online shopping activities and help you save money by showing you the best deals and bargains online. This would have been great if only it was true. Unfortunately, it isn’t. ShoppingDay is nothing but an adware program which was never meant to be beneficial to you in any way. It was only developed to serve crooks` malicious intentions. So, do not fall into its trap and do not trust it. Look past the smoke and mirrors and see the app for what it is – a lying, deceptive adware. Do your best to get rid of this plague as soon as possible. If you let it stay, it will turn your browsing experience into a pure nightmare. Do not let this happen. Act now and delete the infection. Delays lead to regrets.
ShoppingDay really does bombard you with ads. But do not think that these ads are legitimate. The adware has no verifying mechanism. It verifies neither the commercials nor the advertisers. Basically, anyone who is willing to pay can use the app to promote. Usually, crooks are the ones to take advantage. They use ShoppingDay to spread malicious content online and to gain pay-per-click revenue. If you click on the commercials you see, they get paid. And it is impossible not to click. The ads are everywhere and they become more and more with each passing day. Even the pages which used to be ad-free are now completely covered with ads in all shapes and forms. Do not be foolish enough to believe that you can avoid clicking. It is impossible.
Sometimes, an advert shows up right under the cursor of your mouse and you are left with nothing but to click. Then, you may get redirected to a shady pages which are probably brimming with infections. Or, you can download a parasite directly from the commercials. A single wrong click is all it takes for you to invite more pests on your system. Because of the adware, you are constantly a single click away from infections.
The pest ruins your previously safe browsing experience. You are no longer able to find anything you are looking for. Imagine getting any online work done under such conditions. They are unbearable. How did you get infected with the ShoppingDay adware? The thing is, the pest tricked you and you were too distracted to notice. When you download programs off of the web, do you opt for the Advanced or for the Basic settings in the Setup Wizard? If you answer is the Basic ones, change your habits. Always opt for the Advanced settings as they allow you to see if there are some additionally attached apps to the program you are installing. If there are, deselect them. Such extras are usually malicious and have been attached by hackers. You don’t need them in your system, so remove them before finishing the installation. If you don’t, you will have to deal with them later on. Just like this adware. This is probably how it got in. If you had paid more attention, you would have been able to spot it on time and deny it access.
ShoppingDay Virus Removal
Before starting the real removal process, you must reboot in Safe Mode. If you are familiar with this task, skip the instructions below and proceed to Step 2. If you do not know how to do it, here is how to reboot in Safe mode:
For Windows 98, XP, Millenium and 7:
Reboot your computer. When the first screen of information appears, start repeatedly pressing F8 key. Then choose Safe Mode With Networking from the options.
For Windows 8/8.1
Click the Start button, next click Control Panel —> System and Security —> Administrative Tools —> System Configuration.
Check the Safe Boot option and click OK. Click Restart when asked.
For Windows 10
Open the Start menu and click or tap on the Power button.
While keeping the Shift key pressed, click or tap on Restart.
Here are the steps you must follow to permanently remove from the browser:
Remove From Mozilla Firefox:
Open Firefox, click on top-right corner 
, click Add-ons, hit Extensions next.
Look for suspicious or unknown extensions, remove them all.
Remove From Chrome:
Open Chrome, click chrome menu icon at the top-right corner —>More Tools —> Extensions. There, identify the malware and select chrome-trash-icon(Remove).
Remove From Internet Explorer:
Open IE, then click IE gear icon on the top-right corner —> Manage Add-ons.
Find the malicious add-on. Remove it by pressing Disable.
Right click on the browser’s shortcut, then click Properties. Remove everything after the .exe” in the Target box.
Open Control Panel by holding the Win Key and R together. Write appwiz.cpl in the field, then click OK.
Here, find any program you had no intention to install and uninstall it.
Run the Task Manager by right clicking on the Taskbar and choosing Start Task Manager.
Look carefully at the file names and descriptions of the running processes. If you find any suspicious one, search on Google for its name, or contact me directly to identify it. If you find a malware process, right-click on it and choose End task.
Open MS Config by holding the Win Key and R together. Type msconfig and hit Enter.
Go in the Startup tab and Uncheck entries that have “Unknown” as Manufacturer.
