It was created by crooks for the only purpose of serving them. Do not let it ruin your browsing experience while doing go. Take matters into your own hands and get rid of the intruder the first chance you get. The sooner it is gone from your system, the better.
This adware turns your previously normal online activities into a nightmare. Once in, it appends its pesky extension to all of your browsers and injects them with ads. You start seeing numerous commercials on daily basis. Every time you go online, your entire screen is completely covered with ads in all shapes and forms. Even the pages which used to be ad-free are now heavy on banners, coupons, offers, deals, hyperlinks, etc. and etc.
Why do you think you are being bombarded with adverts? It is not because the adware wants to help you with your online shopping. Of course, not. The pest uses the pay-per-click mechanism to help hackers get rich. For every ad you click on, they get paid. They get even better paid for every shady page you get redirected to. You are becoming their sponsor. What is even worse, though, is the fact that you are constantly exposed to malware.
Nothing the adware displays can be trusted. Most of the ads you see are sponsored and they deliver infections. Or, they redirect you to pages which deliver infections. Basically, a single wrong click and you download more pests on your already infected computer. Keep in mind that your PC is already struggling and suffering due to this single adware. Its speed is slow. It crashes all the time. It reboots for no reason. Your browsers are so overwhelmed with ads that they cannot display any content correctly. It is a nightmare. Add to that the malware risk you are constantly exposed to and you have no reason not to get rid of the nasty adware ASAP. Do that. Follow our removal guide at the end of this article and clean your PC once and for all. Trust us, your future self will be very grateful.
How did SearchAwesome manage to enter your machine without you realizing? This adware is not a full-fledged virus. It is a malicious program and it cannot get in without your approval. No permission, no admission. The program is bound to seek your consent but it does so in the sneakiest way possible. It turns to the old but gold means of infiltration like spam email messages, freeware bundles, corrupted links, malicious third-party ads, fake program or system updates, unverified torrents, etc.
Any of these methods will work if you are careless and don’t pay attention to what you are saying “yes” to. Be more vigilant if you want to keep your PC infection-free. Always read carefully the fine print and if you spot something out of the ordinary, do not press the “I Accept” button. Be on the alert. If you don’t take care of your computer, no one else will either.
