If your PC screen gets suddenly flooded by numerous commercial pop-up advertisements, it is certain that a malicious application is already present on your virtual machine. Such program is QuickViewer and similarly to the other potentially unwanted programs (PUP), it is a typical advertising-supported application.
Despite the fact that QuickViewer is meant to provide you with the best shopping deals online, while at the same time saving you plenty of time, you certainly should not trust this program and delete it from your PC as soon as possible. Otherwise, the malicious application might cause you various security problems, frequent system crashes and significantly slow the performance of your computer. In addition, QuickViewer might let other dangerous infections onto the system.
QuickViewer uses various methods to infiltrate your computer. Most often, the PUP enters your system bundled with other freeware and deceives you to approve its installation. This usually happens during the setup process of new software on your PC, because you don’t read the terms and conditions provided by the setup wizard of the application. In this case, you simply agree to everything and let the PUP into the system without even realizing it. Thus, you should be very careful every time when you install new software on your virtual machine. In other case, your system security will be put in danger.
Keep in mind that you should not trust any advertisements provided by QuickViewer, as the PUP does not take responsibility for the content shown on your web browser. So, if you click on any of the displayed adverts, you might get transferred to various websites which contain corrupted material and your PC could be easily infected with malware.
Identically to other unwanted programs, as soon as QuickViewer enters the system, it starts flooding your web browser with tones of commercial advertisements. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that these ads are completely useless for you, they are the main reason why your computer gets slower, experiences frequent system crashes, and your personal security is seriously threatened.
Also, every click on an advert provided by QuickViewer, brings profit to the third parties hiding behind the malicious program and continues its existence. The only way to terminate all the useless adverts is to remove QuickViewer from your PC. Thus, deleting this application from the system is highly recommended.
If your browsing sessions have been redirected to untrusted websites, compromised files, it is very likely that some computer infections may have managed to infiltrate your virtual machine. As a result, infections may be hidden into the system and they can allow some cyber criminals to gain access to your PC and steal your sensitive data. In case this happens, the only way to erase any threats and viruses from the system entirely and protect your personal data from being stolen, is to use an automatic security program. By using it, all hidden infections can be located and deleted at once.
