How to Remove Personal Finder Search (Chrome/Edge/Firefox) | Updated

I wrote this article to help you remove Personal Finder Search. This Personal Finder Search removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Personal Finder Search is a classic member of the browser hijacker family. If you have it on board, prepare yourself for tons of issues. Hijackers are a menace. They bring along nothing but problems and headaches. Personal Finder Search is no different. If you give it enough time on board, it will ruin your browsing experience completely. So, don’t keep it. Delete it as soon as you realize it is there. How do you know that you are infected? Well, there are signs. The biggest one is the appearance of the Searchingfast.com page. The site and the hijacker go hand in hand. If you all of a sudden start seeing Searchingfast.com, be sure that you have a parasite on board.

The hijacker redirects you to the shady page all the time. This is your clue. Once Searchingfast.com takes over your browsers, accept the fact you are dealing with a cyber pest and start looking for a way out. The sooner you get rid of the infection, the better. Do not procrastinate and do not ignore the risk Personal Finder Search poses. Speaking of risks, you face both malware and privacy one. Aside from demolishing your online activities, the hijacker also threatens your personal data by spying on you, collecting all that it can and sending it to the crooks who published it. Do yourself a favor and clean your PC immediately. If you don’t, it won`t be long before you regret it.

The privacy risk is without a doubt your biggest problem but there are others as well. Like we said, your web surfing is not the same anymore. Your every online move is interrupted by the hijacker. The Searchingfast.com page becomes your online shadow and you see it at every turn. It even replaces your previous homepage and search engine without your permission. Also, it is not the only shady site you are forced to visit.

Because of the hijacker, you get redirected mostly to dodgy sites. What do you think that means? You are always exposed to more and more malware. A single click is all it takes for you to worsen your situation. Click nothing. Don’t invite more infections on your PC. The same goes for the countless ads that cover your screen on daily basis. Those are also there because of the pesky hijacker. Avoid them as well. The last thing you need is more parasites on your already compromised and underperforming machine. The only way to get rid of the redirects, the ads and the privacy risk is to remove Personal Finder Search. We can help you with that. Use our removal guide below. Follow the steps in the exact order given and your machine will be infection-free soon enough.

How did you get infected with Personal Finder Search? Do you know how the hijacker entered your system? It slipped by you because you were not careful enough to spot it. The most common tactic hijackers use is called freeware bundling. Pay extra attention when installing free programs off the web. Do not rush but take your time to read what you are about to install. Don’t skip the fine print, aka the Terms and Conditions. Be more vigilant.

Opt for the Advanced settings in the Setup Wizard instead of the Standard ones. This way you will be able to see if there are other programs attached to the original one as well as deselect them. Such extras are usually malicious and attached by hackers. Don’t let them fool you. Choose caution over carelessness and protect your PC. All infections pray for your negligence and haste to succeed. Don’t grant them.
