The Virus

Some of the’s preferred methods of infection include the use of corrupted links, corrupted websites, spam email attachments, and freeware. Among these, freeware is considered as the easiest way to trick you into letting it in. This happens because most computer users usually do not pay attention when going through the installation process and don’t even read the terms and conditions provided. Instead, they just agree to everything and end up with adware, such as, on their systems.

The main problem with is that it’s not only intrusive but is also dangerous. The reason is that as soon as the program enters your system, it starts monitoring your browsing habits. In this way, the adware records your interests, in order to have a better idea of which adverts to provide you with later. It is crucial for the program due to the fact that it is advertising-supported and its purpose is to generate pay-per-click revenue to survive.

Every advert that you click on, is made to gain profit for the unknown third parties behind the application. Yet, the worst thing about apart from monitoring your virtual activity is the fact that after it has collected enough data, it shares it with the aforementioned third parties.
