The hijacker enters in complete and utter silence but once in, you cannot miss its presence. All of a sudden, everything changes. Your browsing experience is not what it used to be. You cannot surf the web normally anymore. Every time you so much as touch one of your previously reliable browsers, you get interrupted. The JURNAL-ONLY.NET page is your new online shadow. You get redirected to it all the time. It also replaces your homepage and search engine without your permission and you cannot change them back. Aside from that, the hijacker forces you to visit tons of other shady sites which you had no intention of visiting whatsoever. You try to load your favorite sports site, for instance, but you land on a malicious one instead. In addition, your entire screen is covered with ads 24/7. Even the pages which used to be ad-free are now heavy on banners and coupons.
This is the hijacker again. It makes surfing the web an impossible task. You cannot find what you are looking for. You cannot even check your email without tons of interruptions. Imagine what this does to your PC. It starts to underperform as well. It lags and crashes frequently. It reboots for no apparent reason. Program take forever to load. Your browsers struggle to display content correctly. It is all a huge mess. One that the hijacker made. Why keep it on board? Once you delete it, everything will get back to normal. You have nothing to lose but a lot to gain by getting rid of this annoying infection. Don’t waste your time. Use our removal guide below and clean your PC immediately.
How did the hijacker enter? Usually, these infections rely on the bundling technique to infect victims. Crooks attach them to other programs on the web and then users do the rest by not paying enough attention while installing these programs. Don’t rush installation processes. Take your time to read what you are agreeing to. The “next/next/next/finish” tactic is not a good option. It leads to infections. And so does skipping reading the Terms and Conditions/ EULA. The fine print is also important. Do not press “I accept” lightly. Do your due diligence and keep your machine infection-free. What hackers pray for the most is your haste, distraction, and negligence. Don’t provide them. Choose vigilance instead. It keeps infections away. Carelessness invites them in.
