If your monitor gets suddenly flooded by tones of commercial pop-up advertisements, it is certain that a malicious application is already present on the system. Such a program is First Color and similarly to the other potentially unwanted programs (PUP), it is a typical advertising-supported application.
First Color belongs to the well-known SuperWeb family. If this name sounds familiar to you, it’s because they’re many other malicious applications that comes from one and the same group. Among them are SiteSimple, Digi Docket, and lots of other programs which enter your system without asking for your permission. Due to the fact that there is no direct download source for First Color, it is certain that the program has infiltrated your PC in some other way.
What you need to remember is that you should never trust First Color and delete it from your PC as soon as possible. In other case, the PUP might cause you various security problems, frequent system crashes and significantly slow the performance of your computer. In addition, First Color might let other dangerous infections onto the system.
Similarly to other malicious applications, First Color is so skillful that it can make you download it without even realizing it. Most often, the PUP enters your PC bundled with other freeware and keeps its presence in secret until the multiple adverts start showing up on your monitor. actually, this is not unusual at all because freeware usually travels bundled with malware as this is the easiest access point to the system.
First Color can also pose as a bogus system or program update. For example, while you think you’re updating your Java or Adobe Flash Player, you’re actually giving the green light to a hazardous and damaging PUP tool. Try to remember that a little extra attention can save you a lot of headaches and troubles, and maybe you won’t have to deal with First Color and its ever-growing pile of daily messes. Thus, computer users should be very careful when installing new software on their machines and read all the terms and conditions provided by the setup wizard of the program.
As soon as First Color infiltrates your virtual machine, it starts flooding your web browser with tones of commercial advertisements. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that these ads are completely useless for you, they are the main reason why your computer gets slower, experiences frequent system crashes, and your personal security is seriously threatened. Besides, if you click on any link provided by First Color, you could be redirected to a malicious website which is very likely to infect your computer with malware. For these reasons, removing First Color from your virtual machine is strongly recommended.
Apart from flooding your monitor with numerous commercial advertisements, First Color is capable of monitoring your virtual activities and recording your browsing history. Once the PUP collects enough data about you, it starts providing you with customized advertisements which are related to your virtual interests and preferences in order to make you open them. Every click you make brings profit to the third parties hiding behind the program and continues its existence. If you want to avoid this from happening and protect your system security, you should remove First Color from your computer immediately.
