I wrote this article to help you remove MySafe Browsing. This MySafe Browsing removal guide works for all Windows versions.
If you have noticed MySafe Browsing extension appended to your browser, the news is not good. The tool is classified as a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Yet, there is nothing potential in your situation. The pest is unwanted indeed. It causes nothing but troubles for you and your machine. Luckily for you, PUPs are considered relatively easy to tackle. If you take immediate actions, you should be able to get rid of the intruder in no time. If you, on the other hand, procrastinate and do nothing, the PUP will bury you in deeper trouble.
Do yourself a favor and don’t let this happening. As soon as you spot the MySafe Browsing extension, accept the fact that it is malicious and start looking for a way to remove it. The sooner it is gone, the better for you. Otherwise, wave your previously normal and enjoyable browsing experience goodbye and prepare for constant interruptions. Trust us, the PUP will become more and more aggressive with every single day. Issues may start as small and insignificant but they will escalate eventually. Cut the pest`s stay short and keep your online activities safe. This is the best course of action you can take.
The nasty PUP hijacks your browsers from the moment it enters. This includes the three most popular used browsers – Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge. But don’t think other browsers like Opera, for instance, won`t be affected. They will be. The extension is perfectly compatible with all of them and no matter which one is your favorite, it is still infected. Every time you go online, you get bombarded with ads and redirected to numerous shady pages. This is how hackers boost web traffic and gain pay-per-click revenue. Your clicks fill their pockets.
Basically, you become their sponsor just by keeping the pest as even if you don’t click on the ads, the crooks get paid when you get redirected. Is this what you want? To help cybercriminals while not being able to surf the web at the same time? We doubt it but if you don’t take any measures, this is exactly what is going to happen. The PUP will be there every time you so much as touch one of your browsers, ready to throw an avalanche of ads in your way. Nothing you do makes these commercials go away. No, they even grow in numbers as time passes. Soon after, there won`t be a page which is not completely covered in banners, coupons, deals, offers, etc.
As a result of all these interruptions, your PC starts to underperform as well. It becomes slow, sluggish and unresponsive. It may even reboot often and cause data loss. All of this because of the nasty PUP which you are hosting. Delete it and everything will get back to normal. All you have to do is follow our detailed removal guide at the end of this article. Don’t hesitate. Act!
The MySafe Browsing PUP didn’t appear out of the blue even though it might have seemed that way. No, the extension was approved. By you. You probably have no recollection of having given it green light but you did, at some point. The pest tricked you. It probably arrived bundled to another program and when you rushed the installation process, it entered your PC behind your back. This is a mistake. If you want to keep your machine clean, you must be always cautious. The one thing hackers cannot succeed without is your carelessness. Do not grant it. Be vigilant instead. Vigilance keeps you safe. Negligence leads to infections.
