Each page that you visit is completely covered with coupons, banners, in texts, video ads, offers, best prices, comparisons, etc. Even the sites which used to be ad-free are now flooded with adverts. Why? Why are there so many ads and why are they so persistent? Simple. The hackers use these ads to boost web traffic to some particular pages and thus to gain money via the pay-per-click mechanism. You click, they get paid. The crooks get even better paid for every shady page you get redirected to and believe us, you get redirected to tons of those. You are becoming their sponsor. What is even worse than you helping these cybercriminals become rich is that you expose yourself to malware while doing it. Nothing the adware shows you is reliable and safe.

Most of the ads are compromised to deliver infections. A single click on the ad is all it takes for the infection it conceals to enter your PC. You risk infesting your machine with threats. And avoiding clicking is just a temporary solutions. The ads and redirects become more and more which each passing day so sooner or later you will click. And then your predicament will go from bad to worse. Don’t push your luck. The adware is not hard to remove but it causes quite the mess. Remove it and save yourself tons of grievances. Use our removal guide below to get rid of the pest manually.

How did the adware enter your machine? One of the most commonly used techniques is called freeware bundling. Be extra careful when you download free programs from the web as you never know what else might be attached to them as a bonus. Always opt for the Advanced settings in the Setup Wizard instead of the Basic ones. They take more time but they also allow you to see all additionally attached programs which are about to enter your PC. You are also able to deselect them. We strongly suggest you do that. Such extras are more often than not malicious and you don’t need them on board. If you did, you would have downloaded them yourself by now. Once you deselect all “bonus” apps, you can still finish installing the program you originally wanted in a safe manner. Virus Removal
