I wrote this article to help you remove IntelService.exe. This IntelService.exe removal guide works for all Windows versions.
IntelService.exe is a Trojan horse. The rogue program has been created to serve as a cryptocurrency miner. It exploits the resources of the targeted computer for its malicious agenda. The developers of IntelService.exe are cyber criminals. They have hard-coded a program which allows them to make money without working around the clock. To achieve their goal, they will not hesitate to put users’ virtual and personal security in danger. Trojans are among the most harmful types of infections out there. You should take immediate action on the removal of the virus once you have detected it.
IntelService.exe is distributed with the help of underhanded techniques known as dark patterns. The first method we will describe is called bundling. The shady program is merged with another piece of software and installed in parallel with it. The download clients encompass freeware, shareware, and pirated utilities. The Trojan will be presented as a useful bonus tool. It will be selected per default. If you do not change the presets, the secluded program will be given access to your system. Make sure you read the terms and conditions of all applications you add to your computer.
Another way to spread IntelService.exe is via spam emails. The payload of the Trojan can be hidden behind an attachment to the letter. The sender will describe the file as an important document on an urgent matter. He will ask you to open the document right away and get acquainted with its contents. Before following instructions from an email, proof its reliability. Spammers often write on behalf of legitimate companies and organizations, like the national post, courier firms, government branches, institutions, banks, social networks, and the local police department. To check whether the sender is who he claims to be, look up the contacts from the email.
The drive-by technique transfers programs seamlessly. Entering a corrupted website or following a compromised links can result in having the Trojan downloaded and installed to your computer. The transfer will begin automatically when you enter the infected domain. You need to be cautious about the websites you visit and the links you follow. Do your research on unconfirmed web domains and only trust content from confirmed sources. When IntelService.exe enters your machine, it will start exploiting its resources. The Trojan exerts about 70% of the total system CPU. Your computer will become sluggish. It will often freeze, crash, and fail to complete its assigned tasks.
IntelService.exe functions as a cryptocurrency miner. The clandestine program scans the darkweb in search of Bitcoins. To be more effective, the Trojan creates a botnet. It connects all infected devices with one another. This way, the insidious program works on a larger scale. The process of collecting Bitcoins from the darkweb is illegal. Having your computer involved in this scheme can get you in trouble. Some countries have adopted laws for the fair use of the Internet as an information source. Users are held responsible for all forms of criminal misconduct which their devices are involved in. When an infection takes place, the proprietor of the targeted computer is required to have the virus removed and notify the authorities, if necessary. Failing to take action would have repercussions.
The final activity we need to mention concerns privacy and personal security. IntelService.exe can access the information users reveal through their online sessions. The nefarious program will record your browsing history, tracking cookies, keystrokes, IP address, geographic location, area code, user names, passwords, demographic details, email account, telephone number, financial credentials, and other sensitive input. Having possession of login details and personal data gives the opportunity for different actions. The cyber criminals can hack your online accounts and steal from them. They can withdraw your funds and register accounts on your behalf. If they do not conduct attacks themselves, they will probably sell the gathered information on darkweb markets.
