I wrote this article to help you remove Geniustrainer.net. This Geniustrainer.net removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Do you constantly get redirected to the Geniustrainer.net page? Have your homepage and search engine been replaced by the same website? We hate to tell you this, but it looks like your PC has been infiltrated by a browser hijacker. This parasite is more than capable of modifying your browser settings and even installing questionable extensions, toolbars or add-ons on your browser, without bothering to ask for your permission. Once the cyber pest has established itself on all of your browsers, it will start generating numerous intrusive advertisements.

Most commonly, they are known to promote exclusive deals, special offers, one-time-only coupons and discounts, etc. The thing with such ad content is, that the adverts will be specifically targeted to appear more attractive to the user. This is all thanks to the hijacker’s ability to steal any web data you have like browsing history, surfing habits, search queries, etc. By using this data, it raises its chances of creating pay-per-click revenue.

Browser hijackers are sneaky parasites that will do anything to trick you into letting them on your computer. Often, they lurk behind spam email messages, email attachments and executable files, software bundles, dubious ads and links, infected torrent files, fake update messages and shady utility tools promotions. In order to make sure that your online presence is secure, you need to be diligent and pay close attention to what you click on.

Browser hijackers are not harmless. Don’t make the mistake of underestimating its powers. Ads might not look dangerous, but sooner or later your browsers will start to struggle to display them all.
