Antanna is a furtive adware program. The tool does not have an official website. It is only spread through underhanded techniques. When it enters your machine, it will begin to work in an equally stealth manner. The adware will use your browser to generate pop-up ads every time you go online. You will have to work through constant interruptions, even if you decide to discard the adverts. In many cases, users are lured by this trickery. Programs like Antanna show bargain offers for various consumer goods in an attempt to garner people’s attention. You should be cautious about the content you follow online. If a proposed deal appears too good to be true, this is probably because it is fake. While avoiding suspicious ads is the first step to keeping your system clean from infections, it is not enough. The rogue software has to be removed to keep you safe from harm.

First of all, let us begin by explaining how you can contact a program like Antanna. The clandestine tool has adopted a few common tricks which allow it to bypass users’ guard. The shady program decorates the content with cursive fonts, bright colors and flash animations to make it more noticeable. Antanna will draw your attention to the price of the listed items. As enticing as the cheap quality products may be, you should not hurry to take advantage of the proposals. The first question you should be asking when a window pops up on your screen is where did it come from. There is no point in promoting exclusive deals to random people on the web. Low-priced items always sell out quickly. The ad windows may contain redirects to infected websites. Entering a corrupted web page is enough to contact malware.

Antanna also poses a personal security risk. The clandestine program has tracking capabilities. It can collect different types of data from your web browser, including your history, keystrokes, cookies, IP address, geographic location, zip code, email account, telephone number, fax, residency, user names, passwords and financial details. The owners of the adware can sell your private information without asking for your permission or notifying you. Personal and financial input is sold on darknet markets. The people who acquire your data can use it to hack your online accounts and steal from them. With sufficient information, they can even register accounts under your name. Antanna Uninstall

Before starting the real removal process, you must reboot in Safe Mode. If you are familiar with this task, skip the instructions below and proceed to Step 2. If you do not know how to do it, here is how to reboot in Safe mode:

For Windows 98, XP, Millenium and 7:
Reboot your computer. When the first screen of information appears, start repeatedly pressing F8 key. Then choose Safe Mode With Networking from the options.

For Windows 8/8.1
Click the Start button, next click Control Panel —> System and Security —> Administrative Tools —> System Configuration.‌

Check the Safe Boot option and click OK. Click Restart when asked.
For Windows 10
Open the Start menu and click or tap on the Power button.

While keeping the Shift key pressed, click or tap on Restart.

Here are the steps you must perform to remove the hijacker from the browser:

Remove From Mozilla Firefox:

Open Firefox, click on top-right corner , click Add-ons, hit Extensions next.

Look for suspicious or unknown extensions, remove them all.

Remove From Chrome:

Open Chrome, click chrome menu icon at the top-right corner —>More Tools —> Extensions. There, identify the malware and select chrome-trash-icon(Remove).

Remove From Internet Explorer:
Open IE, then click IE gear icon on the top-right corner —> Manage Add-ons.

Find the malicious add-on. Remove it by pressing Disable.

Right click on the browser’s shortcut, then click Properties. Remove everything after the .exe” in the Target box.

Open Control Panel by holding the Win Key and R together. Write appwiz.cpl in the field, then click OK.

Here, find any program you had no intention to install and uninstall it.

Run the Task Manager by right clicking on the Taskbar and choosing Start Task Manager.

Look carefully at the file names and descriptions of the running processes. If you find any suspicious one, search on Google for its name, or contact me directly to identify it. If you find a malware process, right-click on it and choose End task.

Open MS Config by holding the Win Key and R together. Type msconfig and hit Enter.

Go in the Startup tab and Uncheck entries that have “Unknown” as Manufacturer.
