I wrote this article to help you remove DragonBoost. This DragonBoost removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
DragonBoost is not a program that will help your PC perform better. On the contrary. It will cause you nothing but troubles. It is an adware. A nasty infection which was developed for only one purpose – to help crooks make effortless profits. It wasn’t meant to be beneficial to you in any way. And if you don’t want crooks to make money at your expense and ruin your browsing experience, you have to get rid of DragonBoost as soon as possible. This sneaky pest has no place on your machine. From the moment it slithers in, problems start pouring.
For starters, DragonBoost adds a pesky extension to all of your previously reliable browsers thus forcing them to serve hackers` malicious purposes. The adware alters your default settings without any authorization of yours. This is why you are bombarded with numerous irritating advertisements. Your browsers are injected with ads which you cannot get rid of. They cover your screen all the time. Any page`s content is blocked by pop-ups. Sponsored, dangerous pop-ups, to be more accurate. The adware mostly generates ads, designed for you only so you would be tempted to click on them. Why? Are you familiar with the pay-per-click tactic? Crooks are. They use the sponsored links to boost web traffic to particular pages and make money from each of your clicks.
Every time you click on a commercial you fill their pockets. Do you want that? But, more importantly, do you want to compromise your computer even more? Because this is exactly what will happen if you continue clicking on links, generated by DragonBoost. You are always one click away from more malware. You cannot trust anything the adware throws at you. It is dangerous. Aside from the ads, you are also redirected to shady pages all the time. Pages which are probably brimming with infections which you can get with a single click. Stay away from everything. You already have an infection to worry about. Your machine won`t be able to handle more. It is already underperforming because of DragonBoost.
The adware causes it to crash. Its speed slows down to a crawl. Even your internet connection may become unstable. And like this isn’t enough, your privacy is at risk as well. The adware has access to your private details. This is how it generates ads that you may like. It uses your browsers` data (history, results, queries) and tailors commercials based on your likes and preferences. But the parasite may go one step further and try stealing your personally identifiable and financial credentials. It is able to spy on you and any information it finds, it shared with its crooks. Don’t let hackers get a hold on your privacy. They are probably the very last people to have access to it. Remove DragonBoost immediately and save yourself a ton of issues. Use our removal guide at the end of this article and delete the adware one and for all.
But how did the adware get on board in the first place? Did you download it intentionally? No. And yet, it managed to enter. Programs like DragonBoost need your inactive cooperation to slither in. They need your permission on their installments but they don’t need you to be aware what you are agreeing to. So, they rely on tricks to dupe you. One of the most effective and popular methods is freeware bundling. Cybercriminals often attach a malicious program to a bundle and the nothing suspecting and distracted users get that program as a bonus.
To prevent an intruder from attacking you, always be on the alert. Don’t rush the installation process by opting for the Basic settings in the Setup Wizard. Instead, choose the Custom ones. They allow you to see each program in the bundle as well as to deselect anything that you don’t want. Also, don’t skip the Terms and Conditions/EULA as they may also hide something. The key to your safety is to your caution. What all infections need the most is your carelessness, haste, and distraction. Don’t provide them.
