I wrote this article to help you remove Kyubey.exe. This Kyubey.exe removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Kyubey.exe is a browser hijacker and if you have it on board, you are in trouble. There is a reason why these infections are called hijackers. Their name totally gives them away. They are intrusive, irritating and dangerous. The more time they spend on your machine the worse it is going to get for you. Kyubey.exe is no exception. It will ruin your previously safe and pleasant browsing experience to the point where you think not using your machine is the better option. But the hijacker doesn’t only mess with your browsing. This is the annoying part. There is more.
The dangerous part has to do with your privacy. From the moment it enters Kyubey.exe starts spying on you and monitoring your every online move. The pest has access to your IPs, email addresses, accounts, usernames, passwords, browser-related data, etc. What is worse is that anything the virus has access to, the crooks have access to as well. So, imagine what could happen if the infection steals your personally identifiable or financial credentials or both. The hackers behind Kyubey.exe will not hesitate before using them for their malicious purposes. Financial frauds and identity theft are first to come to mind. Don’t sit around waiting for this to happen. Remember that you won`t lose anything if you delete the parasite. On the contrary. You will gain a lot.
However, the spying is something that the hijacker does in complete silence. There is no way of telling is it is doing it or not. But its other shenanigans, on the other hand, are more than noticeable. After entering your machine, the pest doesn’t waste any time. It immediately goes after your browsers. It messes with their settings and makes changes which you didn’t approve. Of course, the parasite doesn’t need your approval to make modifications. It acts how it sees fit. It changes your homepage and search engine with another questionable domain. You just open your browser one day and you find it in their places. Then, you start suffering constant redirects to suspicious pages. Surfing the web becomes an impossible task. Any time you try loading a page you end up on another shady one instead. And this is not all.
Aside from the redirects, Kyubey.exe also floods you with a never-ending pile of pop-up ads. Banners, coupons, discounts, offers, deals, video ads, best prices, comparisons, and pretty much whatever else you can think of cover your screen 24/7. The ads are incredibly obnoxious and intrusive. You cannot get rid of them. You cannot even close them with the “X” button. If anything, if you try you may accidentally download more infections. Yes. The ads are not safe. Nor are the pages you are forced to visit. They are all used by crooks to make profits via the pay-per-click mechanism which means they are dangerous. Most of the anyway.
There might be some perfectly safe ads and links but you cannot tell which is which without clicking. And if you click on the wrong one crooks make money and you get more malware. So stay away from everything. Surfing the web is not safe while Kyubey.exe is on board. You have to remove it ASAP. It is also causing your machine to lag and crash. Your browsers freeze often. Even your internet connection may become unstable. Don’t hesitate. Use our removal guide and delete the intruder.
Once you do, make sure it or any other won’t infect you again. Do you know how Kyubey.exe entered this time? You let it in. No intentionally, of course, but still. It tricked you. Hijackers need your approval on their installment and they use tricks to get it. For example, they hide behind freeware bundles or spam email messages. Or, they hitch a ride with malicious third-party ads or lurk behind shady pages. You need to be careful what you click on. Sometimes a single click equals your consent.
Parasites rely on your distraction. Otherwise, you would never give them green light. Be more cautious. Don’t click on anything that comes your way whitout thinking. Stay away from suspicious sites, illegitimate torrents, unverified sources etc. Delete any email messages that are from unknown senders even if they look legit. Don’t rush installation processes and always take the time to read what you are agreeing to. Your negligence is what helps infections succeed. So, be vigilant and don’t make yourself an even easier target.
