This is why you are constantly bombarded with the APPALMAAZ pop-up ads or redirected to shady pages. It is all for the clicks. Each of your clicks fills crooks` pockets and keeps APPALMAAZ active. This is why the intrusions are so persistent as well. Take the ads, for instance. They appear all the time, covering your whole screen and blocking page content. Whatever you do, don’t click on any of them. They are sponsored and potentially dangerous. Clicking on the wrong ad would mean automatically downloading more infections. Sometimes a single click is enough to invite more pests.

Stay away from everything even if looks appealing to you. And it does. You must have noticed that these ads are not only intrusive but they also look like they have been made specially for you. Don’t be gullible and don’t help hackers make money at your expense. If you take the bait, you are not only helping them but you are also risking getting more malware on board. The last thing you need is more parasites. The one you have is more than enough. It also causes your PC to underperform. Your machine becomes sluggish. It lags. How to protect yourself in the future? In order to prevent another infection, you have to know how APPALMAAZ got in in the first place. These infections rely on tricks to enter because they need your permission on their installment. Of course, you wouldn`t give it knowing what you are getting yourself into, so the pests pray for your haste, distraction, and carelessness as well as on the oldest tricks in the book. APPALMAAZ Uninstall

STEP-1 Before starting the real removal process, you must reboot in Safe Mode. If you know how to do this, skip the instructions below and proceed to Step 2. If you do not know how to do it, here is how to reboot in Safe mode:

For Windows 98, XP, Millenium and 7:
Reboot your computer. When the first screen of information appears, start repeatedly pressing F8 key. Then choose Safe Mode With Networking from the options.

Click the Start button, next click Control Panel —> System and Security —> Administrative Tools —> System Configuration.‌

Check the Safe Boot option and click OK. Click Restart when asked.
For Windows 10
Open the Start menu and click or tap on the Power button.

While keeping the Shift key pressed, click or tap on Restart.

STEP-2Please, follow the steps precisely to remove APPALMAAZ from the browser:

Remove From Mozilla Firefox:

Open Firefox, click on top-right corner , click Add-ons, hit Extensions next.

Look for suspicious or unknown extensions, remove them all.

Remove From Chrome:

Open Chrome, click chrome menu icon at the top-right corner —>More Tools —> Extensions. There, identify the malware and select chrome-trash-icon(Remove).

Remove From Internet Explorer:
Open IE, then click IE gear icon on the top-right corner —> Manage Add-ons.

Find the malicious add-on. Remove it by pressing Disable.

STEP-3

Right click on the browser’s shortcut, then click Properties. Remove everything after the .exe” in the Target box.

STEP-4

Open Control Panel by holding the Win Key and R together. Write appwiz.cpl in the field, then click OK.

Here, find any program you had no intention to install and uninstall it.

STEP-5

Run the Task Manager by right clicking on the Taskbar and choosing Start Task Manager.

Look carefully at the file names and descriptions of the running processes. If you find any suspicious one, search on Google for its name, or contact me directly to identify it. If you find a malware process, right-click on it and choose End task.

STEP-6

Open MS Config by holding the Win Key and R together. Type msconfig and hit Enter.

Go in the Startup tab and Uncheck entries that have “Unknown” as Manufacturer.
