The Supodl.com Virus

Annoying never-ending commercials are covering your screen all the time, popping and blocking content. Do you know why, though? It is not just to get on your nerves and ruin your browsing. Of course not. The hackers have an agenda. They use these links to make profits via the pay-per-click mechanism. Are you familiar with it? Because crooks are and you are becoming their sponsor just by keeping the infection on your PC. Each click on an ad fills their pockets and exposes you to malware risk at the same time. Of course, there is a malware risk.

The advertisements are sponsored hence very unreliable. They could easily lead you to a page brimming with pests or deliver an infection themselves. Do yourself a favor and stay away from everything the adware generates unless you want to compromise your already compromised computer. It is currently underperforming because of this one parasite. Imagine what could happen if you accidentally download more. Tackle the pest before it is too late. Use our removal guide at the end of this article. All you have to do is follow the steps in the exact order.

We already established that the Supodl.com pop-ups because the adware is forcing it on you. But how did the adware itself enter? Did you download it on purpose? No. Did you agree to its entrance? You would want to say “No” but, actually, the answer is “Yes”. You did and you don’t remember it. This is how infections sneak in. They use tricks to dupe you into giving them green light. Otherwise, you would never give your approval. These tricks include freeware, spam email messages and malicious attachments, bogus program updates, compromised links/pages, unverified torrents, illegitimate sources, etc.

The tactics are many but none of them would succeed without one more thing – your negligence. This is what all parasites need the most. Your haste and distractions are what makes the entering tactics work. You have to be more vigilant. For starters, stay away from shady sites, sources, etc. as most of the times, they deliver nothing but infections. Don’t open emails from unknown senders even if they look legitimate.

When installing a program, be extra careful. Take your time and don’t rush. Choose safety over speed. Don’t skip the Terms and Conditions/EULA and forget about applying the “next/next/finish” method without even bothering to read what you are agreeing to. By doing so you are making it even easier for pests to infect you.
