Immediately after entering your machine, the adware takes control over your browsing. For starters, the Timesearchnow.com page becomes your constant online companion. It appears all the time. You get redirected to it and other just as shady sites frequently. It may even replace your homepage and search engine. All of a sudden visiting a page becomes an impossible task. But that not all.

They generate web traffic to particular sites and hackers make money via the pay-per-click mechanism.
Each of your clicks on a link/ad fills their pockets. But it also exposes you to huge malware risk. These links are sponsored and potentially dangerous. They may lead you to pages brimming with infections. Sometimes, a single click is enough to get said infections on board. That`s why the bigger the avalanche of links and ads it, the bigger is the chance of your clicking on something. Moreover, to make sure that you will be at least tempted to click on a commercial, the adware generates ads which you may like. How? It spies on you. It monitors your browsing-related data and knows your likes and preferences.
Then, it uses them to tailor advertisements you will find appealing. Isn`t that sneaky? But your browsing data may not be the only thing the adware spies on. It may go one step further and try stealing your personally identifiable and financial credentials. Do you imagine what could happen then? Don’t allow it.
