I wrote this article to help you remove Kipuu.cn. This Kipuu.cn removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Kipuu.cn is a malicious domain which conceals a pesky browser hijacker. If you see the page all the time it is pretty safe to say that your machine is no longer infection free. The hijacker has sneaked into your system and the Kipuu.cn website is its way of announcing its presence. As soon as you notice the page start looking for the parasite`s hiding place. Keep in mind that the longer you ignore the threat it poses the worse it is going to get for you. Aside from all the browsing interruptions, you are going to be forced to endure, the worst part is the security risk you are taking.
The hijacker threatens to expose your personal details to complete strangers. To crooks. It spies on you from the second it enters and gathers all kinds of info. For example, IPs, email addresses, accounts, passwords, usernames, browsing-related history, etc. All of this eventually ends up in the cybercriminal`s hands. Even your financial and identifiable credentials are not beyond the pest`s reach. And you know that these crooks are not going to think twice before using your data for their malicious purposes, don’t you? Don’t sit quietly waiting for the problems to escalate. Act now!
Kipuu.cn finds its way in your system unnoticed but, once in, you cannot miss its presence. It reveals itself to you. As mentioned, it uses the Kipuu.cn website. You see the page all the time. It becomes your constant online companion. The parasite even replaces both your homepage and search engine with its domain without your permission. In fact, none of the reshuffles it makes are authorized. Your approval is neither needed nor required. And just for the record, your preferred browser is not the only infected one. All of your browsers are so you don’t even have a single safe one to use. This means that switching between browsers is useless and the only thing you can do to is to permanently delete the parasite from your machine.
Once your browsers have been infected, the issues start pouring. First of all, you cannot get rid of the Kipuu.cn site. You are always redirected back to it no matter which page you want to visit. It is just always there and it is not alone. Don’t forget about the avalanche of irritating pop-up ads. The hijacker generates countless pop-ups to throw your way. Your screen is covered with banners, video ads, coupons, deals, offers, best prices, etc. And, unsurprisingly, these ads are impossible to close. Even if they block the content of the page, which they do, you cannot get rid of them. Beware! Whatever you do, don’t click on these commercials. Don’t click on anything the hijacker displays. The chances are it is dangerous.
Take the ads, for instance. Most of them conceal more malware threats directly in them or lead to shady pages laced with threats. If you click, you get infected. Keep in mind that you may get stuck with a much more dangerous parasite, like a ransomware or a Trojan. This is the very last thing you need right now. Your machine is already suffering. Because of the hijacker, it is incredibly slow. Your system crashes a lot more often. Your browsers freeze/lag. Your computer is just not the same anymore.
So, instead of risking filling it with more parasites, take care of this one. Stay away from all the ads, the redirects, and the links that the Kipuu.cn hijacker generates. Don’t forget that while keeping it on board you are always going to be only one click away from more malware. Don’t take that kind of risk. Delete the pest now and regain control over your PC. To do so manually, please, use our removal guide at the end of this article.
And last but not least, how did the hijacker infected you and what can you do to keep yourself safe? For starters, infections like this cannot enter unless you let them. Given your situation, you must have done so at some point and you probably don’t remember anything. This is because the hijackers rely on trickery to dupe you into installing them. They hide behind freeware bundles, bogus updates, third-party ads, spam email attachments, corrupted links/pages/torrents, etc. They never ask you for your permission straightforward as they know they will never get it this way.
What hijackers need most is your carelessness. If you are negligent it would be easy for them to trick you. Don’t let yourself be fooled. Pay more attention online. Read carefully what you agree to. Don’t blindly press the “OK, I agree” button. This way you are only making yourself an easier target. Be vigilant. Be on the alert. You are the one to keep your own machine safe. And finally, getting a good anti-malware program will only help you in the future. Just keep it up to date and regularly scan your machine to be sure it is clean.
