Tpoxa.com is a malicious domain and it indicates the presence of a cyber infection in your system. You have a browser hijacker aboard and you have to delete it as soon as possible. First of all, this infection is sneaky and slithers in your system in complete silence. Second, it makes a mess of your machine by meddling and making unapproved reshuffles, which you cannot change back. And third, it exposes you to malware risk and threatens your privacy. Do you need more reasons to be convinced? The pest has to go now.
Once in, Tpoxa.com goes after your browsers first by adding to them its pesky extension which completely changes your browsing experience. And not for the better. You don’t even have one reliable browser to use as Tpoxa.com`s plugin works for Chrome, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc. Also, your previous homepage and search engine are now replaced with the Tpoxa.com page and your permission was neither needed not asked for. However, this domain it the exact opposite of reliable and it doesn’t show you safe and accurate results as advertised.
In fact, it was never meant to improve your browsing. It was created to serve crooks malicious purpose to make easy profits. That’s why you are bombarded with sponsored search results/links, countless of ads and constant redirect to Tpoxa.com and other shady pages. All these are used to boost web traffic to specific pages and help cybercriminals gain revenue via the pay-per-click method. However, while these people are making an illegitimate profit, you are exposed to a constant risk of getting infected by more threats. The sponsored links cannot be trusted.
Usually, the sponsored links lead to unknown pages, which, for all we know, may be brimming with infections. The same goes for the advertisements. They conceal malware inside and your one click is enough to get infected. You have to avoid absolutely everything the hijacker generates and this may even mean not using your PC at all. Your machine is already struggling with removing this nasty pest. Its speed is annoyingly slow, your system crashes/freezes, your Internet connection is bad. Even if you could stay away from all the hijackers throws your way your machine just doesn’t work properly. And to top it all, while you have the hijacker on board you can consider your private life no longer private. The tool spies on your every second it is on board. It collects IPs, usernames, passwords, emails, accounts, browser related data, etc. and it gives it all to the crooks who published it.
This is how these strangers with agendas gain access to your privacy and they can use this info for whatever they want. You financial and identifiable details are not safe either. By keeping this useless parasite you ae risking falling victim of a financial scam or even identity theft. Don’t hesitate but delete Tpoxa.com on the spot. Our removal guide below will help you do that in a couple of simple steps.
The hijacker has to dope you into allowing its installment otherwise, it cannot enter. That’s why it turns to one of the most efficient tricks in the book – bundled software. If you download such program packages often you have to be extra careful. First of all, you cannot see each program in the bundle unless you opt for the Advanced settings. However, the majority of users tends to choose the Basic ones as they are faster. Don’t choose speed over safety. The Advanced settings allow you to see each program in the bundle AND deselect each one if you don’t want it to enter your PC.
Most of the times users get infected because they don’t pay attention and rush the process. Don’t do that. Take the time to read the Terms and Conditions and don’t agree to everything you are asked to. By being careless you are practically inviting the pest to infect you. Be vigilant all the time while online as parasites are lurking from everywhere and you being on the alert is the only way to spot them on time.
