I wrote this article to help you remove CurveLayer. This CurveLayer removal guide works for all Windows versions.
Are you constantly being bombarded with the CurveLayer annoying ads? If yes, you have to take immediate measures. These ads didn’t appear out of the blue. There is a nasty cyber infection on your machine that is forcing them on you. What you are stuck with is a nasty, obnoxious potentially unwanted program (PUP). Aside from this ads, it will cause a lot of other problems as well. Luckily, PUPs are among the parasites which are relatively easy to remove. Your situation could have been much worse if you have been infected with a ransomware or a Trojan. However, don’t underestimate CurveLayer only because it is not the worst possible infection out there. It is still a parasite and it could also cause you irreversible damage. As soon as you spot it, delete it immediately. Otherwise, you will be in for an unpleasant situation.
Once CurveLayer has tricked you into installing it, as that is what it does, it starts messing with your system. PUPs are incredibly annoying. They will keep getting on your nerves and wrecking your system until there is nothing left to wreck. The first thing CurveLayer goes after is your browser. It makes changes to your browser settings without bothering to ask you. For example, it replaces both your homepage and favorite search engine with its own website, which is highly unreliable. Also, every time you try visiting another page you will be redirected to pages you have never seen before. You simply can`t get any work done as you are being interrupted all the time. If not by the redirects to suspicious pages, then, by the ads.
The CurveLayer ads will flood your screen on daily basis. You will be forced to deal with pop-ups, pop-unders, video ads, deals, offers, coupons, best prices, etc. They are appearing as if my magic as soon you open your browser. But beware. Stay away from these ads. They are not only irritating but they are also dangerous. They expose you to malware risk. How? Well, they conceal cyber parasites in them and if you click you allow this parasite to infect you. Only one single click is enough as it equals your permission. Don’t click on anything the PUP generates unless you want to compromise your already compromised PC even more. You can find it brimming with infections in no time. Think about that. You are currently struggling with removing only one pest and your machine is underperforming. Its speed is slow, the system crashes frequently, your browser freezes. What would you do if you have to deal with ten more parasites? How long do you think your PC will last before the Blue Screen of Death appears? Not long. Avoid everything CurveLayer throws your way.
But all of this seems like a minor inconvenience compared to the security risk which the PUP puts you through. From the second it lands on your computer is starts spying on your in the background. It monitors everything, your financial and identifiable data included. And not only that. It also keeps it all and sends it to its crooks when it decides it has enough valuable information. This is how the PUP jeopardizes your privacy and grants crooks access to your private life. You cannot let these strangers have such power over you. Do you imagine what could happen if they decide to use your data for their malicious purposes? Stop this right now. Use our removal guide below and get rid of this nasty PUP once and for all.
But do you know how the parasite infected you? You were the one to let it. That’s right. These infections need your permission and if you don’t give it to them they cannot enter. But don’t be too hard on yourself. The PUP doesn’t ask for your approval openly. Of course not. This leaves too much space for rejection. Instead, it uses tricks. Tricks like freeware, for instance. It is one of the most effective methods as the majority if users blindly rush the whole process. They don’t read the Terms and Conditions and who now what they agree to. They keep on pressing “next” and hope for the best. However, “the best” is very far from you in such situations. Infections need your negligence. If you are careless you will probably give them green light. But if you pay a little bit more attention, you have a chance at spotting an intruder on the spot. Other infiltration tactics include spam, fake updates, corrupted links/pages, malicious ads, etc. You have to be constantly on the alert while online as it is up to you to protect yourself and your PC.
