The program the executable contains has been categorized as an adware tool. The shady program performs unauthorized tasks which expose users and their computers to security threats. The adware generates advertisements and monitors people’s browsing sessions.

How does the activity of AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard pose a threat to my security?

AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard is an ad-supported program. It raises proceeds for its developers by taking users to sponsored websites. The adware displays advertisements in various formats, including pop-ups, pop-unders, in-text links, coupon boxes, freebies, interstitial, transitional, contextual, inline, floating, comparison and full-page ads. They contain embedded links to third party platforms. Every click adds to the commissions, paid for the promotional campaigns. This monetizing method is called the pay-per-click system. The insidious program does not scan the websites it promotes to proof their security. Following the ad windows could lead you to malicious websites, infused with malware.

AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard is easy to detect. You are sure to notice the ad flow. The clandestine program generates advertisements on a constant basis. It will interrupt your sessions all the time. The activity of the adware has a negative effect on the system’s performance. Producing the ads requires a lot of CPU. AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard overloads the system. Your machine will slow down to a crawl. Conducting routine operations will become time-consuming. The computer will fail to process large data requests and often freeze.

The inconvenience is the least of the problems. AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard has the capability to track users’ browsing sessions and collect information from their browser. The adware can access and record personal and financial data, like your history, cookies, keystrokes, IP address, email, telephone number, geographic location, demographic profile, user names, passwords and entries. The owners of the rogue program sell people’s private information on dark markets without asking for their approval or notifying them.

How is AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard distributed?

If you look for AnyProtect on the Internet, you will not find it. The furtive program is spread through unofficial sources. AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard often travels in a merged executable with another program. The common hosts for the adware are pirated programs, freeware and shareware tools. The undesired software will be installed together with your program of choice, if you fail to take action to prevent this from happening. When adding a program to your computer, take the time to read through its terms and conditions. Do not accept bonus tools. They could be malware in disguise.

The other way for AnyWhereAccess Setup Wizard to enter your system is through a spam email. The adware can use text documents, images, archives, folders and other files as a means of transport. The secluded program will be transferred to your machine when you open the host. You should make sure an email is reliable before accessing files or following instructions from it. Be advised that the sender can misrepresent an existing company or institution. Spammers tend to write on behalf of the national post, courier firms, social networks, e-commerce platforms, government branches and the local police department. To proof the reliability of a message from your in-box, check the sender’s contacts.
