  1. Dear Mr. Stoyan,
Hi. Hoping that you are v.well.
Unfortunately I did fall a victim for those malicious.
I phoned them yesterday, & I gave them the permission to enter the laptop that I’m using.
Only at the end we discovered that they were fakes when they insisted to deal with to fix the lap by reducing the service’s fees, which supposed to be paid online.
Kindly … How to correct our mistake ?.
    Thank you.

    1. Hello Duraid,

Unfortunately you fell victim of so called “Tech Support Scam”. These criminals craft/infect various websites with malicious code and when a visitor comes at that site he sees the message you saw: “… you have a problem, call XXXXXXXX to fix it”.

I really hope you did not pay them a penny. Generally, they do not install additional malware on the computer, they just want to scam you to pay for non-existing computer problems.

If you really have any doubts please download some free antivirus as Avast, Avira and scan your PC. Also, I can advise you to change your online passwords (just in case, because there are tools that can grab them from your browser, if you remembered them in it).

      Regards,
      Daniel
