Remove Support.windows.com | Updated

I wrote this article to help you remove Support.windows.com. This Support.windows.com removal guide works for all Windows versions.

The appearance of the Support.windows.com page on your screen is bad news. If you see the site every time when you open one of your browsers, you should know that there is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) in your system. A scamware. This is an app which is created for the purpose of lying to your face in order to make you act against your best interest. Do not believe even a word it says because you are going to regret it later. Instead, as soon as you spot the Support.windows.com page, accept it as the warning it is and heed it.

Acknowledge the fact that there is a nasty PUP somewhere in your system and take immediate measures to remove it. It doesn’t belong there. The longer it stays, the more lies it feeds you. Do yourself a favor and get rid of it before it causes you harm. Sooner or later, it will. Do not let that happen. Act before it is too late and get rid of the intruder.

Once the PUP enters your machine, the Support.windows.com becomes your constant online shadow. You cannot make a single online move without the page popping up. Yes, its presence is annoying but it is not your only problem. The site is lying to you. It shows up every time you go online and states that it has performed scans on your PC and that it has found numerous threats which are hanging over your head. The thing is that PUPs cannot perform scans. They are not capable of finding malware. This means that the results you are shown are fake. They are not real. Why does the PUP show them to you then? Simple. It is trying to scare you. It wants you to panic because if you do, you will be more willing to do what it says.

The infection makes you believe your PC is brimming with infections and then, ironically, offers you a solution. This solution is to call a toll-free number in order to contact tech specialist who will help you deal with the issues. Do not get in touch whit these people. Do not call, do not write. They are scammers as well. If you contact them, they will feed you more lies. Usually, the solution they offer is for you to purchase some fake anti-malware program which is supposed to help you with your non-existent problem. Yes, non-existent.

There is nothing wrong with your machine. Aside from the PUP, of course. It is the only malware you need to worry about. Do not call these people, do not give them any money and do not disclose any personal information. They will dupe you. Do what is really best for you and delete this PUP once and for all. Once you do, the Support.windows.com and its fake warning will be gone. Use our removal guide below and clean your PC. Do it now! Delays lead to regrets.

How did the PUP manage to enter your computer? Again, with lies. The infections tricked you into giving it permission to get in because it cannot enter without it. It uses tricky methods like freeware bundles, fake program updates, corrupted links, third-party ads, unverified torrents, etc. If you are careless and do not pay attention to what you click, you unintentionally allow malware to enter.

Your negligence is the one thing no pest can succeed without. Do not provide it. Be more vigilant and doubting. Always read carefully what you are agreeing with. It is always easier to prevent a parasite from entering than dealing with it once it is already in. Remember that!
