How to Remove MoneyBot (Chrome/Edge/Firefox) | Updated

I wrote this article to help you remove MoneyBot. This MoneyBot removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

MoneyBot is a nasty adware pest. It is not a reliable and helpful application. It is an adware. In other words, you are dealing with a cyber infection. There is a silver lining, though, so don’t panic. You may consider yourself lucky as you are stuck with a relatively easy to remove parasite. You could have been infected with a much more serious threat like a Trojan or a ransomware. Instead, you are infected with an adware. Do not get us wrong, though. This does not mean that MoneyBot is harmless.

There is no such thing as a harmless pest. Each one causes troubles and each one eventually gets out of control. MoneyBot included. It may not be nearly as hazardous as others threat but it is perfectly able to cause issues. And the longer it stays, the more issues you face. The good news is that you can remove the intruder quite easy IF you act immediately. Do not give the threat more time in your system. Delete it upon detection and save yourself tons of future headaches. As soon as you spot MoneyBot in your system, find where it is hiding and remove it without thinking twice about it. This is the best course of action you can take.

MoneyBot demolishes your browsing activities. From the moment it enters, your web surfing changes. You cannot make a single online move without the adware interrupting. For example, whenever you try to visit your favorite pages, you get redirected to other shady ones. Additional tabs open all the time as well. Countless commercials cover your whole screen 24/7. Your online videos get paused for commercial breaks. It is a nightmare.

The adware prevents you from surfing the web normally. This is more than irritating. It is nerve-wracking. Yet, it is also dangerous. The pages you end up visiting and the ads you are bombarded with are not reliable. Most of them are actually corrupted and they lead to infections. If you happen to click on the wrong one, you compromise your PC even further. And believe us, there are plenty of corrupted links and ads and you cannot tell the safe ones apart from the dangerous ones. Sooner or later you will click.

Sometimes ads appear right under the cursor of your mouse. This is what the adware does. It needs to generate pay-per-click revenue for its owners and it uses you. Do not become a sponsor of crooks. Do not click on anything as long as the adware remains. Do your best to delete it ASAP because your situation is worsening by the minute. The commercials become more and more aggressive and grow in numbers. The only way to get rid of them is to delete MoneyBot. Do that. Don’t waste your time in debates. The program will never be beneficial to you. It is only beneficial for its developers. Delete it before it is too late. Use our guide below and clean your PC once and for all.

How did the adware enter? Usually, these infections travel bundled with other free programs and when you install these programs, the adware pests enter as well. The key is no pay attention, though. There is a way to prevent them from entering. Opt for the Advanced settings in the Setup Wizard instead of the Basic ones. They take a little bit more time but they also allow you to check the entire bundle app by app and deselect all extras that you don’t want to enter your system. This is how a little bit more time and attention go saves you tons of problems. Remember that the next time you decide to install something and don’t make the same mistake twice.
