I wrote this article to help you remove Kickay Virus. This Kickay Virus removal guide works for all Windows versions.
Do you have the Kickay extension added to your Chrome browser? If yes, you are in trouble. Kickay is an infection. A potentially unwanted program, to be exact, and it has no place on your machine. Know this: Kickay is unwanted indeed. It causes nothing but troubles to you and your system. As soon as you spot it, take actions against it. This is a cyber infection we are talking about and there is no such thing as an innocuous parasite. Each one poses danger to you and each one eventually gets out of control.
Don’t give Kickay time to get out of hand. Cut its stay short. If you leave it be, the program will make a complete mess of your machine and it won`t be long before you regret your decision. Don’t waste time. The longer the parasite remains, the more problems it causes. It is only a matter of time before it causes some irreversible damage. Why keep it? It was never meant to be beneficial to you anyway. It does not enhance your online experience nor does it help you with your online work. On the very contrary. It turns your web surfing activities into hell and exposes you to constant malware risk. Remove it while it is not too late. This is the best course of action you can take.
When Kickay enters, it goes after your Chrome browser immediately. It injects it with ads. Have you come across these commercials yet? Of course, you have. They are so many and they are everywhere. Keep in mind that the more time Kickay spends on board, the more ads you will see. Every page you visit is heavy on banners, coupons, deals, offers, in texts, comparisons, best prices, video ads, pop-ups ads, etc. and etc. Even the sites which used to be ad-free are now completely covered. You cannot surf the web normally anymore. Your whole screen is blinking with ads in all shapes and colors which block page content. This is incredibly annoying and yet, it is not the worst part.
Not only you are bombarded with commercials on daily basis, but these commercials also pose risks. The crooks use them to earn pay-per-click revenue. If you click, they get money and you get more malware. That’s right. Nothing you see because of Kickay is reliable. A single click on the wrong link and you automatically download more infections on your already infected machine. This is the last thing you need. Your computer is already underperforming because of this single pest. It is slow and it crashes frequently. Your browsers freeze, your Internet connection worsens. Imagine what it would be if you get more infections on board. Your machine will shut down completely. Delete Kickay immediately and protect yourself. To do so manually, use our removal guide below. It is easy to follow and it will help you get rid of the PUP in a few simple steps.
But how did you get stuck with Kickay in the first place? Well, you were tricked. Kickay is a part of a huge “Add Kickay” scam. How does the scheme work? You get redirected to a black web page where you see a message stating that you cannot view some kind of content. Then, the message offers you to add an extension which will supposedly “fix” your problem. Well, this is it. The so-called extension is Kickay and if you accept it, you get stuck with the infection. In fact, if you click “deny”, you also get stuck with the infection.
What you should do is close your browser using Task Manager and leave the site without clicking on anything. The “accept” and “deny” buttons are only there to make you feel like you have a choice but you don`t. Do not click on anything. Use your Task Manager and leave the page. This is the only way to prevent the PUP from entering. The pest is also distributed via the usual tactics like bundles, spam, fake updates, corrupted links, etc. Always be on the alert while online. Put your safety first.
