But it would also be good if you read the entire article just to understand what kind of infection you are dealing with.
The LUTLAMELABE.RU hijacker takes control of your browsers and starts making unauthorized settings. It doesn’t need your permission to do so. Your preferences are irrelevant now. For instance, did you give this pest permission to replace your homepage and search engine with the LUTLAMELABE.RU site? We don’t think so. You were not asked. You just opened your browser one day only to find that the reshuffle has already been made.
The LUTLAMELABE.RU page becomes your online shadow. You cannot make a single online move without it popping up. But it is not alone. Due to the hijacker, you see tons of other just as shady sites all the time. And, you are buried with numerous ads.
Every site that you visit is heavy on banners and coupons. Even the ones that used to be ad-free are now heavy on “great” deals and pop-ups. Imagine getting any work done in these conditions. It is almost impossible. And also, it is very risky. With the hijacker on board, you cannot trust anything that you see on your screen. Most of the links and adverts are corrupted and they deliver infections.
Your machine is already suffering and underperforming because of this hijacker. If you get infected with more pests, it won`t take long before it breaks down completely and become unusable. Yet, there is more. Your privacy is jeopardized as well. The hijacker is programmed to spy on you and collect sensitive data. Then, it sends it all to the hacker behind it and they can use it however they see fit. What if they use it for their malicious purposes? Those are your private details. Do not let that happen. Delete the hijacker immediately. The sooner you get rid of it, the better.
How did the hijacker manage to infect you? Usually, these infections travel hidden in bundles. If you download free programs off of the web, pay close attention during the installation process. Do not rush to click on the finish button. Take your time to read the Terms and Conditions before you accept them. The fine print is there for a reason. Skipping it makes you vulnerable. The EULA may hide some misleading clauses which you are totally against, but if you don’t read them you will agree to them anyway. Do your due diligence. Hackers need your carelessness to succeed. Don’t grant it.
