This infection is ad-supported. In order to prolong its existence, it has to generate pay-per-click revenue for its owners. How does it do so? By bombarding you with ads, of course. But not any type of ads. The pest selects commercials which will spark your interest so that you will be tempted to click. If you click, the hackers make money. This is why it is called pay-per-click system. But how does the pest know your likes and preferences? Simple. It spies on you and monitors your every online move. It uses your browsers as spying devices. It knows what you have searched for, what pages you have bookmarked, your pre-infection history, etc.

Then, it uses this information to show you adverts which you will find appealing. This way it assures your clicks. Pretty sneaky, isn’t it? And that’s not all. The collected data gets sent to the strangers behind the infection and they can use it for whatever they want. Or, they can sell it to third parties. Either way, you lose. What is the adware gets its hands on your personally identifiable and financial credentials and send them to the crooks? Do you realize what could happen? You can fall victim to a financial fraud or even an identity theft. Aside from what, your browsing experience is completely ruined as you suffer constant intrusions. Your machine slows down and underperforms as well. As we said, the adware doesn’t do you any good. On the contrary. So, get rid of it ASAP. Use our removal guide below and delete this intruder now.

But how did the infection get in? Do you know how parasites travel the web and infect users? We will explain. Adware pieces are still programs and they cannot get installed on your PC without your permission. No permission, no admission. Sounds pretty simple but it is not. The pests have found ways to go around this rule. Technically, they still ask for approval but in the sneakiest way possible. They hide behind spam email messages, corrupted links/pages, unverified torrents, freeware/shareware bundles, bogus program or system updates, etc. With any of these techniques, the adware could trick you into giving it green light IF you are careless enough. Which you should not be. Your negligence is what hackers pray the most for. Don’t grant it. Don’t make yourself an even easier target by being distracted. Rely on vigilance and keep your PC clean.
