I wrote this article to help you remove GamerzLand Search Virus. This GamerzLand Search Virus removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

GamerzLand Search is a nasty browser hijacker infection. If your homepage gets suddenly switched to GamerzLand Search, be sure that you are infected. The hijacker is already in your system and this reshuffle is the first clue of its presence. Needless to say, your predicament is not great. Hijackers do not make for pleasant tenants. On the contrary. They are the perfect combination of useless, annoying and dangerous. GamerzLand Search is no different. Don’t expect anything beneficial to come out of it being in your system.

The truth is that you will suffer constant intrusions every single day until the very moment you remove it from your PC completely. That’s exactly what you must do. As soon as you notice that your previous homepage has been replaced with GamerzLand Search, accept the fact you are dealing with a browser hijacker and start looking for a way out. The sooner you find and delete it, the better for both yours and your system`s well-being. On the other hand, the more time the pest spends on board, the more problems and headaches it causes. Don’t waste your time in unnecessary debates. The hijacker has to go. Now!

Once this pest enters, it immediately goes after your browsers. It takes control of them and your opinion is no longer relevant. As we said, the pest replaces your homepage with GamerzLand Search and your search provider with http://gmrlnd.com. Your search engine will now redirect to result from pages http://search.yahoo.com so the crooks behind the hijacker can earn pay-per-click revenue. This is not all, though. Now that the hijacker has full control over your previously reliable browsers, you are constantly exposed to malware risk. Nothing you see on your screen can be trusted.

The hackers need revenue, they don’t care if the links and results you see are safe or not. The worse part is that most of them are corrupted. If you click on the wrong one, you automatically install more infections on your already infected and underperforming machine. And, you become a sponsor of hackers at the same time. And, your online activities are effectively ruined. Surfing the web at peace becomes an impossible task. A real challenge. You suffer constant intrusions. You get redirected to shady sites all time. Additional tabs open on their own accord. Your screen gets covered with commercials which don’t go away. It is a nightmare and you will hate it.

Imagine getting any work done online under such conditions. It is impossible. The hijacker makes you avoid using your own PC. You don’t have to put up with all that. Once you get rid of Gamez and Search, everything will get back to normal. There will be no more redirects, no more ads, and you will get your homepage and search engine back too. Your machine will start performing normally again. Delete the hijacker now. To do so manually, use our removal guide at the end of this article.

How did you get stuck with this parasite? Do you often download programs from unverified sources? And when you install these program, do you opt for the Custom settings or for the Basic ones? If you opt for the Basic ones, you need to change your habits. Under them, the installation is completely automatic and you have no control while the Customized ones give you the chance to see what you are saying yes to. You will be presented a list of all extra apps which you are about to install. Remove them all. Such “bonuses” are more often than not malicious and if you don’t prevent them from entering on time, you will have to deal with them later on. Remember that next time you install a program.
